One of our favourite things about Portland, Oregon is the vast abundance of food trucks around the city center. What better way to sample an array of fresh handmade local food while exploring a new city, or even the city you call home.
Perfect for tourists and locals alike, Victoria’s getting into the food truck trend in a big way. With the recent wave of them washing over our food-obsessed city, it’s only right that we celebrate.
Hosted by VIC Fest and Tectoria, the first annual Victoria Street Food Festival takes place July 19th and 26th from 2pm to 8pm at Centennial Square. The local festival promises plenty of food trucks, a beverage garden, and live entertainment. Local favourites Tacofino and Pig BBQ Joint‘s Pigmobile are among the food vendors participating in VSFF, as well as Victoria’s newest member of the food truck fleet, Melt Truck, a cart specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches. We’re there.
