home shopping

No, we’re not talking about the ‘order now and get the apple slicer add on’ kind of shopping. We’re talking about shopping in the city you call home, from the businesses that call your city home, too. We know it’s harder to do for some than others, but anyone lucky enough to hang their hat in Victoria has no excuses, especially now.

Thanks to We Are Local and their Pre-holiday Pop-in Shop, shopping local is easier than ever.ย  A whopping 35 locally owned shops are participating in the three-week Pop-in Shop at Onlyhuman, including Bernstein & Gold, Emporia Boutique, Caffe Fantastico, Reunion Boutique, Beehive Wool Shop, Rook & Rose Floral Design Boutique and The Regional Assembly of Text – just to name a few! Goods range from handmade jewelry and clothing to kitchen gadgets and freshly roasted coffee beans.
Pre-holiday Pop-in ShopFull of stocking stuffers, gifts that will wow, or gifts just for you, we’re not kidding when we say we could have finished the entirety of our Christmas shopping and then some in just one afternoon.

Theย Pre-holiday Pop-in Shop runs until November 30th inย Onlyhuman at 616 Yates St., Victoria, BC.

I love getting these posts in my inbox; the friendly tone and links to interesting resources in Victoria are terrific. Being in the “over 65” bracket, I was not personally familiar with some of these local establishments and will definitely check them out now. Thanks for bringing so much to my attention, as shopping local is always a priority for me. Keep up the great work!
    Much appreciation,
    Val
